Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to provide students with the skills of measuring physiological and psychological performances in sports and evaluating these measurements.

Learning Outcomes
1The student should be able to explain the basics of measurement and evaluation and its importance in sports.
2The student should be able to explain the desired qualities in a measurement tool used in sports.
3The student should be able to recognize the test types and choose the test protocol appropriate for his/her purpose.
4The student should be able to conduct validity and reliability studies while preparing a measurement tool.
5The student should be able to perform statistical operations on measurement results and interpret them.
6The student should be able to evaluate the data obtained.

The importance of measurement and evaluation in sports, basic concepts of measurement and evaluation, desired qualities in a measurement tool, measurement tools used in sports, types of evaluation, types of tests, test development, evaluation and grading, performing statistical operations on test scores.
