Course Contents
It includes the political events of the Ottoman Empire in the Modern Age. Sultan III. Political events between Selim's throne and the beginning of the Sultan Abdülaziz Period, political struggles between the Ottoman Empire and other states are within the subject of the course. In addition, the Ottoman Empire started its balance policy with the understanding that it could not fight alone with other states and therefore the alliances made by the state are discussed. Many non-Muslims revolted at the borders of the Ottoman Empire with the idea of nationalism spread by the French Revolution. The revolts of these rising nations against the state and the processes of their departure from the state are examined.
