Course Contents
The aim of the course is to explore the Ottoman Institutions in the early modern times. The functioning of the Ottoman central administration, the Imperial council (divan-i hümayun) and its permanent members i.e. the Grand vezir, vezirs, Defterdars etc., provincial system (Eyalet Sistemi) and province administration, and other related subject will be dealth with in detail.
