Objectives of the Course
It is aimed to give information about the emergence of the Abbasids and the political events in the history of Islam. In addition, it is aimed to give information about the birth, development and Islamic institutions of Islam civilization and to evaluate it in a comparative way.

Learning Outcomes
1Learns the political, military and religious policies of the Abbasids.
2People in the relevant period get information about the institutions.
3Has knowledge about the influence of Islamic civilization to Europe, can question it.
4From the Prophethood of Hz. Muhammad, he explains and compares the changes and transformations of the Islamic society in different periods during the periods of the Four Caliphs, the Umayyads, the Abbasids and the Andalusian Umayyads.
5Have information about scientific works developed in Islamic civilization.
6Learns the material and moral works of Islamic society.

Course Contents
The appearance of the Abbasids, their political and military struggles, the Prophet. From the time of Hz. Muhammad to the administrative, military, social, economic, judicial, educational, cultural and architectural structures of the Islamic society will be developing in the process.
