Objectives of the Course
It is aimed to teach the structures of Oghuzs, who made important contributions to the development of Turkish history, the emergence of the Seljuk dynasty, the struggles of Tuğrul and Çağrı Bey with Karahanli and Gazneli. In addition, the establishment of the Great Seljuk State is aimed at making the political and military actions of the sultans understandable from Tuğrul Bey to Alp Arslan.

5Learn about all the political and military actions of Tuğrul Bey and Melikşah.
6Gazneli, Karahanli and understand the relationship with the Turkmen.

Course Contents
Oğuzlar and Oğuz Yabgu State, the name of Selcuk and the origin of the Seljuks, their entry into Islam, the political struggles of the Seljuks in Maveraünnehir and Harezm, the entrance of the Seljuks to Horasan, the struggles of Tuğrul and Çağrı Bey on the road to nationalization, the Dandakan War and the Great Seljuk State establishment, Tuğrul Bey All political and military actions during the reign of Alpin and Alp Arslan and the Battle of Manzikert, which is the turning point of Turkish History, will be explained.
