Objectives of the Course
Historians and philosophers who claim views on philosophy of history aim to give general information about the definition of philosophy of history, its sources in Turkish culture, relations of history with other cultures and general concepts of history and aim to create opinion.

This lesson; Discussing the concepts of history, philosophy and history philosophy in detail, understanding of history and important ancient historians in Ancient Ages and the Middle Ages, Greek-Roman historiography and philosophy, Islamic historiography and understanding, Ibn Khaldun's understanding of history, the Renaissance and the Age of Enlightenment His understanding of history covers various topics such as Herder, Kant, Hegel, Marx's understanding of history, changes in 20th century historiography.

4Islamic middle age history writing and concept, İbni Haldun and classification of sciences.

7Herder’s philosophy of history, Philosophy of history in 19th century.
