Objectives of the Course
Being introduced the process beginning with Asian Huns B.C. 209 and political and military structures of Turkish states being founded in that area. Being introduced economical and cultural structures.

Course Contents
In the course Turkish history before Islam; Asian Hun state which was the first Turkish state established in middle Asia and Turkish people’s start of the state life, organisation of Turkish nation under the provision of Mete and Asian Hun state and shortly establishment of middle Asia’s most powerful state, state managements of the people who came after Mete, collapse of the state and establishment of west Hun state known as heir of middle Asian Huns, Attila and political and military actions of his against east and west roman empire, collapse of state after Attila , establishment of gokturk state which was middle Asia’s second powerful state and via west gokturks the first trade treaty made with byzantine empire, the period of Fetret between 630 and 681, establishment of gokturk state the 2nd , Uygur state and transition of Turks to permanent settlement and the period of Uyghur state known as the most civilised state in middle Asia in 8th and 9th centuries.
