Objectives of the Course |
Teaching the situation of Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 19th century, especially the history of America and the Far East, the reflection of the thought of the world imperialism in these countries, and the opening of the Far East to the West and its taking place in world politics. |

Course Contents |
It includes the political developments in the 19th century and the state of the states. The situation of the European states after the 1789 French Revolution, the Ottoman relations with the European states and especially the history of the American and the Far East constitute the content of the course. The process of European imperialism reaching America and the Far East, unity of America, political conflict over China and economic fragmentation of China, Sino-Japanese War, the emergence of Japan as an example of the uprising of the European exploitation order and the emergence of new states. Shifting the direction from European politics to the east and Russian Japanese War constitute the content of the course. |
