| Level of Course Unit | First Cycle | Objectives of the Course | Stagnation and collapse periods of the Ottoman Empire in the last 300 years, there were a lot of initiative, effort, and developments to get rid of them. From XVIth century we can track these developments sometimes have not to be taken into consideration, sometimes they did not place, but sometimes also found support have not been successful. It has been arrived with that they were also succeed to 1918. Than it was born in the Republic of Turkey. Since the 17th century, attempts have been made for the state to recover itself. Starting from the 18th century, keeping up with modern Europe has been the main goal in these innovation efforts. Starting from the Tanzimat Period of the Ottoman State, the content of the course was first and second.
