1Recognize the approaches that explain the concept of culture.
2Will have information about biological and cultural evolution.
3Recognize different perspectives and theories in anthropology.
4Will be able to interpret the economic and political diversity of societies and express the place of kinship and gender in the socialization process.
5Will be able to explain and interpret the emergence of belief systems, diversity and language-culture relations.

Course Contents
Basic subjects of anthropology and the concept of culture; history of cultural anthropology and cultural change, culture and values, concepts related to culture (language, ecology, modes of production and economy), gender, marriage, family, kinship and lineage systems; symbolic meaning of social organizations and ceremonies; anthropology of religion, communication, economics, education, film and photography, history, journalism, law, linguistics, literature, medicine, political science and sociology within the scope of the course and within the framework of RPD.
