Course Contents
Properties and classification of spectacle lenses, Diopter definition and formulation, Refraction defects, Axle concept and correction of astigmatism, Transpose, Recognition and measurement of spectacle lenses, Use of magnometer Technique, Introduction of spectacle frames, Measuring spectacle frame, Frame selection and adjustment, PD distance and mounting height determination, Marking, drawing and shaving of spectacle lenses, Different types of spectacle lenses dioptric forces in the meridians.
