Objectives of the Course
It is aimed to explain the laws, regulations, the history and development of the profession, the basic information about the optician profession, and to introduce the tools / equipment.

"Duties, responsibilities and areas of authority of the optician, Optician and Optometry education in the country and in the world. Status of the profession, Historical development of the profession, National and international organizations related to the Optical and Optometric professions, Terms and abbreviations used in the optician profession, Basic features of eyeglass lenses and frames and types, Visual defects, Prescription information, Standards of vision equipment."
