Definition, scope, development and history of microbiology, Origin of microorganisms, Endosymbiosis and other theories, Classification and Structure of Microorganisms, Prokaryotic and eukaryotic microorganisms, Structure and physiology of bacteria, Media where microorganisms are produced, Substances required for nutrition and reproduction of microorganisms, Environmental factors affecting the reproduction of microorganisms. , Enzymes and metabolisms of microorganisms, Bacterial genetics, Antimicrobial substances, Resistance to antimicrobial substances, Resistance mechanisms to antimicrobial substances, Sterilization, Disinfection and application methods, Structure of viruses, Viroids, Prions, Differences between bacteria and viruses, Important virus types, shapes and general structures (AIDS and hepatitisB virus), fighting viral diseases. Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Streptococcus.Pneumoniae, Bacillus, Enterobacteriaceae,Campylobacter and Helicobacter, Pseudomonas, Brucella, Haemophilus Bacteria (Haemophilus and Bordetella), Mycoplasma and Ureoplasma, Anaerobic Bacteria, Endospore Gram Positive Bacteria. Media Preparation, Staining Methods Used in Microbiology Laboratory, Antibiogram test.
