Objectives of the Course
To the subjects of labor law within the framework of our legislation by considering the emergence of the concept of labor law in the global sense from a historical point of view, to learn the scope and basic concepts of labor law, to obtain theoretical and practical information about the disputes and solutions that may arise in working life by determining the rights and obligations of workers and employers within the scope of individual and collective labor law.

Learning Outcomes
1To be able to understand the process of the emergence of labor law from a historical point of view and to have the ability to determine the importance of labor law in the Turkish legal system and the relationship between labor and employer.
2To have the ability to determine the employee and employer and other labor law subjects within the scope of labor legislation, to have the ability to determine the rights and obligations of the employee and employer within the framework of the labor relationship.
3To have the ability to determine the working and rest periods, which have an important place in the employment relationship, and to evaluate them in terms of the employee and the employer.
4To have the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge about the process of termination of the employment contract, to have the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge about the temporary termination and immediate termination for just cause.
5To provide competence in issues related to collective labor law, and to have the ability to identify and resolve individual and collective labor disputes.

Course Contents
Nature and development of business law. Employer, employer, employer, agent and intermediary concepts. Individual work law: Service flow, job regulation, working hours, fees, annual paid leave, severance pay and other indemnities. Collective labor law: unions and collective bargaining. Business disputes and remedies: mediation, special referee, high judge and labor court. Strike and lockout.
