Objectives of the Course
The aim of the introductory social policy course is to inform students about the formation and development of social problems and to introduce solutions to social problems. To convey the development of social policy in the world and in Turkey in a historical perspective and to gain skills to analyze new emerging social problems that arise in changing conditions.

Course Contents
The historical development of the phenomenon of social policy, the definition and purpose of social policy, the factors affecting the emergence of social policy and the industrial revolution, the role of local governments in social policies will be emphasized.
