Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to help students understand the importance and description of child psychology and child mental health, historical development in child psychology and mental health, theories related with child psychology and mental health, characteristics of normal and abnormal behaviors, diagnosis and treatments of behavior and adaptation problems in children (stuttering, mutizm, enuresis, encopresis, finger sucking, eating nails, aggression, jealousy, tics, obstinacy, sleep disorders, eating disorders, fears, attention disorders and hyperactivity, school phobia, steal, lie) special family situation (divorced, adoptive father and mother, lost of parent etc.) to effects of child mental health.
