Objectives of the Course
*To teach basic grammatical structures with the help of related lecturing and exercises, and to develop reading- comprehension- writing skills in a certain level. *To improve students’ basic language skills through reading, writing, listening and speaking

Learning Outcomes
1to be able to distinguish and use given tenses with the help of keywords
2To be able to form positive- negative sentences and questions in different tenses
3To be able to reorder mixed items in a sentence according to English sentence structure.
4To be able to form dialogues in basic subjects
5To be able to learn new vocabulary
6To be able to comprehend the reading material in sentence, paragraph and textual level with increasing vocabulary
7To be able to develop writing skills in paragraph and textual level with the help of given structures in related topics
8Students will be able to take part in simple everyday conversations
9Students will be able to talk about everyday topics using simple structures and vocabulary
10Students will be able to understand the gist of short, simple foreign language texts
11They will be able to understand authentic texts (e.g. forms, instructions, brochures, information leaflets).
12They will be able to write and answer postcards and simple personal letters with the help of a dictionary
