To know which parts of the computer are made as hardware and how these parts work together. To learn how computer parts relate to each other. To be able to install the appropriate operating system.

Course Contents
PC; Motherboards; CPU; CPU and motherboard. Bridges; details of CPU; Moores Law, Cache memory; data and orders; CPU samples; RAM; RAM technologies and details, Chipsets; Input/Output (I/O) system; slots like ISA and PCI; Busses; adaptors, Harddisks; floppy, CDROM, etc. drives; ATA, SATA. Strategies of combining and configuring a computer and the ways of solving hardware problems. Meanings of Overclock and benchmark. Multimedia systems, systems software and terminology, new technologies.
