Objectives of the Course
In this course, given as two main units, first unit as named Introduction contains notion of law, general information about different systems of civil law and main sources and terms of Turkish Civil Law. In second unit named as Law of Persons, detailed rules and terms about real and legal persons are taught. With this course students are made to understand regulation method of most basic law rules, base of main principles, positive law and interest equilibrium by living in society.

Course Contents
This course is divided into two parts: introduction to civil law and the law of natural persons. The aim of the first part is to enable students to understand the sources and the general principles of civil law. The second part of the course covers topics such as capacity, protection of personality and personal status.
