Objectives of the Course |
To reinforce the theoretical knowledge and experiences gained by the students during their education, to develop the skills they have gained in Social Security practices, to enable them to recognize their responsibilities, relationships, organization, production process and new technologies in their workplaces. |

Prerequisites and co-requisities |
Students who want to do internship at the end of the second semester can do half or all of the determined internship if they get a DC (conditionally successful) or higher letter grade from the courses that cover 60% of the total Credit/ECTS of the courses they are obliged to take as of the end of the semester before the internship application. |
Recommended Optional Programme Components |
Internships are carried out in provincial and out-of-provincial public institutions and organizations or in the private sector, which the Vocational School Unit Internship Commission accepts. |
Course Contents |
Internship provides opportunities for students in the field of transferring the theoretical knowledge acquired during the education program to the application stage. Therefore, it covers all kinds of work-related activities. Within the scope of this internship, students have to work in any business field that covers their field of study. (This working period cannot be less than 30 days and more than 60 days.) The work done is recorded and reported daily in detail. This internship report is approved by the relevant person in the working environment and the approved report is delivered to the relevant academic staff in the department to be evaluated and graded. |
