1Learns the geological structure of turkey, rocks, earthquakes and seismic zones of our country.
2Learns preparation and storage of soil sampling.
3Learns the basic physical characteristics of soil and their interrelation.
4Implements classification principles of soil.
5Learns permeability, watercourse, total stress, effective stress, pore of water pressure and change in depth
6Determines the coefficient of permeability
7Will be able to identify improvement methods on soils.

Course Contents
In this course, geology, sampling, physical properties and classification of soils, permeability of soils and ground water flow issues will be discussed.
