| Bayburt University Faculty of Art and Design was established in accordance with the decision numbered 2017/10549 published in the Official Gazette on 17 August 2017. Within Bayburt University Faculty of Art and Design; It includes Graphic Design, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Painting and Music departments. The Music department within the Faculty of Art and Design has started its education activities as of 2023. The Music department, which admitted its first students in 2023, still continues its activities. |

| Specific Admission Requirements |
| For candidates who want to enter the Music Department of the Faculty of Art and Design, candidates must get 140 or more points from any score type of the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS). Special Aptitude Exams are held every academic year for candidates who meet this prerequisite. Candidates who apply for the special talent exam by meeting the prerequisites take the special talent exam where their musical proficiency is measured. Candidates are entitled to enter the music department within the scope of the quota determined according to the average of YKS, OBP and special talent exam scores. |

| Students who graduate from the Department of Music, if they meet the entrance conditions, can work as voice and instrumental artists in TRT radio and television, as voice and instrumental artists in Ministry of Culture institutions, as program producers, as academicians at various levels in universities and, provided that they receive training, in primary schools and high schools, attentive music education institutions and also in public education. They can become teachers in their centres. |
