General Description
History
Pharmacy Services Program started to provide education and training within the Department of Pharmacy Services at Bayburt Vocational School of Health Services in the 2018-2019 academic year.
Qualification Awarded
Those who successfully complete our program are entitled to receive the title of Pharmacy Technician with an Associate Degree in Pharmacy Technician.

To be a high school graduate or equivalent and to be successful and placed in the relevant program by OSYM
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)
In the recognition of prior learning in higher education institutions, the provisions of Regulation on the Principles of Transfer Between Associate Degree Programs, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer" are applied.
Qualification Requirements and Regulations
Graduates of the Pharmacy Services Program are expected to have knowledge and skills about Anatomy, Introduction to Pharmacy Technician, Practical Drug Knowledge, Medicine Forms Technology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Toxicology, Occupational health and safety, Pharmacy Services Principles and Ethics Committee courses. In order to successfully complete the program, it is necessary to pass all the courses in the program (equivalent to 120 ECTS), to achieve a weighted grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00, and to successfully complete the summer internship (30 working days).
Profile of The Programme
The aim of the Pharmacy Services Program is to train successful Pharmacy Technicians who are entitled to receive the title of Pharmacy Technician with high communication skills, who perform the duty of supplying drugs against prescription, which is obligatory in Community Pharmacies and Public Pharmacies, which are among our important health institutions.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Our graduates, who adopt a service approach with a high level of communication with patients and can obtain drugs against prescription, can fulfill their health care duties in public or private pharmacies.
Access to Further Studies
If our graduates are successful in the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) conducted by ÖSYM; They can transfer vertically to Biochemistry, Chemistry, Health Management, Social Work and Chemical Engineering Undergraduate Departments.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Principles regarding exams and grade evaluation specified in Bayburt University Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education Regulations are taken into account.
Graduation Requirements

Facilities
All classrooms where classes are held are equipped with smart boards, projectors and internet connection. The courses that require computer application are carried out in the Computer Laboratory, which has 60 computers. Internet access via wired-wireless networks is unlimited in this laboratory. This laboratory, where students can get service by using their personal computers, is also open to students outside of class hours.

4To work as a team member to solve complex problems that are encountered in applications related to the field and cannot be determined in advance.

6To be able to critically evaluate the basic knowledge and skills gained in the field, to identify learning obligations and to meet these obligations.

8Ability to convey the situations he/she thinks about in matters related to his/her field, at the level of basic data and skills, through written and verbal communication.
9To be able to share with experts and non-experts their thoughts on situations related to their field and their solution recommendations to problems by supporting them with quantitative and qualitative data.
