History |
The population structure is changing in the world and in Turkey, and the elderly population is increasing day by day. In our country, the traditional family structure is replaced by the nuclear family structure and life styles are changing. This situation increases the demand for elderly care services and creates the need for professional, qualified people to work in the field of elderly care. This area, which was created apart from the health personnel who are interested in the health of the elderly, will take care of the elderly population one by one, absorb the problems that may occur in the elderly with the eyes of a healthcare professional and act as a bridge with other healthcare personnel. The Aged Care Program started to provide education and training within the Department of Health Care Services at Bayburt Vocational School of Health Services in the 2015-2016 academic year. |
