Short Cycle Programmes (Associate's Degree)
VOCATIONAL SCHOOL OF TECHNICAL SCIENCES
- Electrical and Energy
- Electrical (S.E.)
General Description
|
|
History | Currently, there is an active Electricity program in our department. This program was opened in 2009 and received its first students in the 2010 fall semester. However, the second education part of our department is currently closed. Currently, there are 1 professor, 1 associate professor, 3 assistant professors and 3 lecturers in our department. | Qualification Awarded | Electricity Program associate degree diploma is given to those who successfully complete this program. Our graduates receive the title of the technician. | Level of Qualification (Short Cycle , First Cycle , Second Cycle, Third Cycle) | Short Cycle | Specific Admission Requirements | After graduating from high school or its equivalent, the candidates must have received sufficient points from the central exam held by ÖSYM. | Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) | The process of recognition of prior learning in Turkish higher education institutions is still in its infancy. Therefore, the recognition of prior learning has not been fully initiated in all programs of Bayburt University. For this reason, only foreign language exemption exams are held at our University in order to be recognized in previous education. | Qualification Requirements and Regulations | Successfully completing the 120 ECTS courses available in the program and obtaining a diploma grade of at least 2.00 out of 4.00. He must also have completed a 30-day industry-based internship. | Profile of The Programme | Electricity Program graduates follow a training program in order to train electrical technicians in public institutions or in their own workplaces. The program is equipped with elective courses from other programs along with vocational courses. Our students reinforce the theoretical knowledge they have learned in the lessons with the applications. | Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples | Our graduates work as technicians in public institutions and organizations if they get sufficient points from the KPSS exam. At the same time, our graduates can work as intermediate staff in the private sector. | Access to Further Studies | If our graduates are successful in the DGS exam conducted by ÖSYM, they can switch to Electrical-Electronics, Electrical, Electronic Communication Engineering. | Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading | The method of measurement and evaluation applied for each course is described in detail in the Course Teaching Plan. | Graduation Requirements | The conditions in the qualification conditions and rules section are sufficient. | Mode of Study (Full-Time, Part-Time, E-Learning ) | Full-Time | Address, Programme Director or Equivalent | Bayburt University Dede Korkut Complex
