Qualification Requirements and Regulations
Successfully completing all the courses available in the program (for a total of 120 ECTS), completing a 30-day compulsory internship and having a weighted grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 are the required qualification conditions for graduation.
Profile of The Programme
Our program, which provides education at the associate degree level, provides training in order to meet the technical staff needs of the sector and to train qualified personnel in Computer Programming.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Considering the education they have received, it is seen that students who graduate from this department can show themselves in the fields of database management, web design, programming, 2D/3D designer and internet programming. Accordingly, students who graduated from the Computer Programming Program; In the private sector; They can be web design and programmer in companies, intermediate staff to take part in database-related transactions, designers and animators in advertising agencies and companies, and programmers who can work in certain sectors of software companies. They can also find a job as a graphic designer in photography studios, or, considering the basic computer solutions and methods they have taken, they can open their own business, employ staff or find a job in the service and maintenance departments of another computer company. Since they are equipped in computer office operations, there are opportunities to work in all possible business sectors in computer operator jobs. Computer Programming graduate students in public institutions; With the KPSS score they can get, they can find a job as a qualified officer. In particular, they can take part as intermediate or main staff in processes such as data entry, office operations, infrastructure and technical support, web information departments or secretariat of municipalities.
Access to Further Studies
Candidates who have successfully completed their Associate Degree education can study in undergraduate programs in their own fields or related fields, provided that they get a valid grade from the DGS exam and have a sufficient GPA.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
The courses are given on a semester basis and the education given is evaluated with 40% weighted midterm exams and 60% weighted final exams. According to Bayburt University “Associate and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations”, a grade evaluation system is applied.

It is necessary to successfully complete all the requirements of this program such as course, practice and internship in accordance with the provisions of the "Bayburt University Associate and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations", and to have a GPA of at least 2.00 and to complete at least 120 ECTS credits.

Facilities
There are two computer laboratories, each containing 30 computers suitable for today's conditions, which are mainly used by the Department of Computer Technologies. Education continues with 2 classrooms for theoretical courses. 1 electrical-electronics laboratory is used for lessons.
