Specific Admission Requirements |
Students are admitted to Higher Education through an exam based on YKS (Higher Education Institutions Exam). The exam is organized by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). Candidates can enter higher education institutions with a score that is formed by the combination of the score they got from the YKS exam and the average of their secondary education success score. |
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) |
Students who enroll in our program can request exemption from the courses they have successfully completed at the higher education institutions they have studied before. For this, they must submit their transcripts and course contents to the relevant unit within of the registered year with a petition. |
Qualification Requirements and Regulations |
Students who successfully complete vocational school programs that aim to train qualified and equipped manpower, covering at least a two-year program based on secondary education qualifications, and meet the required credit load are entitled to receive an Associate Degree Diploma. Students who graduate from the program are expected to: Understand and interpret a problem in the field of Sports Management, be competent and partially expert in working in a specific field of a sports business or club, be aware of their own competencies and know the solutions to the problem.
Successfully completing all courses available in the program (equivalent to a total of 120 ECTS), having a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00, and completing a 30 working day internship are the qualification requirements for graduation. |
Profile of The Programme |
Starting from the foundations of management science, it is aimed to train sports managers who are professionally equipped in the field of sports management and have the knowledge capacity to apply their knowledge in different fields. The education program of the department includes theoretical, applied and general culture related compulsory and elective courses related to sports management. Individuals who will successfully graduate from the department; It is expected to analyze sports organizations by making use of educational technologies and to produce alternative ideas for organizational effectiveness and work efficiency. |

Graduates will be able to work in sports federations, sports clubs, hotels and fitness centers as well as the central and provincial organizations of the General Directorate of Sports Services. |
Access to Further Studies |
After associate degree education, it is possible for students to continue their undergraduate studies at relevant universities with the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS). Graduate students can transfer to Business Administration, Business Management, Recreation and Sports Management departments with DGS and complete their education at the undergraduate level. |
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading |
At least one midterm exam is given for each course. Succeed with varying results and be completed in two stages: midterm exam and final exam. Apart from midterm exams, quizzes, activities and other activities deemed appropriate for teaching effectiveness can be held. The number of these activities and their contribution to success are stated in the lesson plan by the instructor. The midterm exam is 40% effective and the final exam is 60% effective in determining the passing grade. Completing all exams out of 100 points. |
Graduation Requirements |
The graduation requirements from the sports management program are based on the following conditions: It is obligatory to take all the necessary courses for graduation within the periods specified in the relevant regulation, to complete the current program with a GPA of at least 2.00, on the condition of being successful in the courses taken, and to do an internship for 30 working days. The student graduates from the program by completing 120 ECTS/ECTS credits. The graduate student is awarded an associate degree diploma in the Sports management program. |

Our students in the sports management program examine current developments in the field of sports management during their two-year education. In these studies, they can benefit from our university's sports practice areas. They completed their internships, which is a requirement for graduation, from T.R. They can also do this within the scope of the National Internship Program carried out under the Coordination of the Presidential Human Resources Office. Graduate students will be able to work in sports federations, sports clubs, hotels and fitness centers, as well as in the central and provincial organizations of the General Directorate of Sports Services. |
