General Description
History
Marketing Program , has opened in 1996. First students is started in fall-1996 semester.
Qualification Awarded
The students who have succesfully completed the program will be awarded with a Associate's Degree in Marketing.

Specific Admission Requirements
There are two types of students selection. 1- Students have to be hight school graduate and have to take enought point from the exam maked by ÖSYM. 2- If students are graduated from vocational school in marketing, these can enter the program without exam.
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)
In Turkish higher education institutions, the process of recognition of prior learning at an early stage yet. Therefore, in all programs of Bayburt University, recognition of prior learning is not fully ini talized. Therefore, in our University, in prior learning, the recognition of university education to a previous exemption foreign language exams are just done.

The courses available in the program of 120 ECTS shoul be completed succesfully and diploma score of the least 2.00 out of 4.00 should be obtained. In addition, a total of 40 days(2 parts can be done), industry-based internship must be completed.
Profile of The Programme
The purpose of the Marketing Program is to educate the personnel equipped with the theoretical and practical knowledge relating to the sector’s needs. In this program we teach the subjects such as product, price, distribution, brand, target market analysis, identification of strategies, marketing research, advertising, internet marketing, international marketing which the contemporary marketing business needs.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
In case, graduates receive a sufficient score from KPSS, work public institutions and organizations. This program provides students that the basic condition about marketing staff. Branch graduates can be serving sales person, sales manager and in public relations and in the advertising agency customer representative.
Access to Further Studies
The graduates of this Program also have the right to continue their four-year education in the departments of Business, Business-Economics, Business Informatics, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, Public Relations and Advertising, Advertising Design and Communication, Public Relations and Publicity, International Business, International Trade, International Trade and Finance, Logistics Management, Communication. Communication Sciences, Marketing Education.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
The examination regulations are specified for each course. However, generally, there is 1 Midterm Exam and 1 Final Exam for each course. Measurement and evaluation type described in detail for each course in Teaching Plan.
