History | Foreign Trade Program, has opened in 1998. First students is started in fall-1998 semester. There are 2 instructor and 95 student in our program | Qualification Awarded | The students who have succesfully completed the program will be awarded with a Associate's Degree in Foreign Trade. | Level of Qualification (Short Cycle , First Cycle , Second Cycle, Third Cycle) | Short Cycle | Specific Admission Requirements | Students have to be hight school graduate and have to take enought point from the exam maked by ÖSYM. | Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) | In Turkish higher education institutions, the process of recognition of prior learning at an early stage yet. Therefore, in all programs of Bayburt University, recognition of prior learning is not fully ini talized. Therefore, in our University, in prior learning, the recognition of university education to a previous exemption foreign language exams are just done. | Qualification Requirements and Regulations | The courses available in the program of 120 ECTS shoul be completed succesfully and diploma score of the least 2.00 out of 4.00 should be obtained. In addition, a total of 30 days (2 parts can be done), industry-based internship must be completed.
| Profile of The Programme | Foreign Trade Program is designed to equip the students with both theoretical and practical knowledge of the rapidly changing foreign trade world as qualified intermediate staff assistants needed to perform a particular job in foreign trade companies or in export-import departments of business organizations.
| Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples | In case, graduates receive a sufficient score from KPSS, work public institutions and organizations. Graduated students have opportunity to work in foreign trade institutions or in export-import departments of business organizations as intermediate staff assistants. Most of them work in their family corporations and the others work in a wide range of business organizations in foreign trade sector. | Access to Further Studies | Our Graduates, when accomplished the DGS exam made by OSYM, can be pass to the departments like International Trade, Economics, Business-Economics, Banking, Banking and Finance, Economics and Finance, Banking and Insurance, Labor Economics and Industrial Relations, Management Informatics of the Business, Logistics Management, Capital Markets, International Finance, International Relations and the European Union, International Business, , İnternational Trade and Finance, , İnternational Trade and Business | Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading | The examination regulations are specified for each course. However, generally, there is 1 Midterm Exam and 1 Final Exam for each course.
