The Social Security Program was opened as a program affiliated to the Department of Property Protection and Security within the Vocational School of Justice of Bayburt University, pursuant to the decision of the Higher Education Executive Board meeting dated 24/04/2019 and Article 7/d-2 of the Law No. 2547 amended by the Law No. 2880. started to provide education in the 2020-2021 academic year. |

Specific Admission Requirements |
Within the framework of the regulations determined by the Higher Education Institution (YÖK), student admission to this program is made through the examination system made by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). After the students notify the program preferences they want to study, they are placed in the relevant programs by this center according to the scores they get from this exam. |
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) |
Recognition of prior learning in Higher Education Institutions is carried out within the scope of the Regulation on the Principles of Transfer between Associate Degree and Undergraduate Degree Programs in Higher Education Institutions, Double Major, Minor and Credit Transfer between Institutions. Students can be exempted from the courses they have taken before and their equivalence is accepted and counted towards the minimum course load, with the decision of the Higher School Administrative Board. An exemption exam is held at the beginning of the academic term for the foreign language courses included in the curriculum of our school. Successful students are exempt from the relevant course. |

In order to graduate from the program, our students must complete the courses prescribed in the four-semester associate degree program with an average of 2.00 out of 4.00. The student must pass a midterm and a final exam for all compulsory and elective courses each semester. |
Profile of The Programme |
The concept of Social Security, which is the realization tool of the social state; It is the product of seeking an assurance against events that pose a danger (risk) to the individual's economic or physiological life. Social security is a right for people and a duty for the state. Regardless of the development level of the country, social security is accepted as one of the fundamental rights of the individual and his family in Articles 22 and 25 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and in our constitution, “Everyone has the right to social security. The State takes the necessary measures to ensure this security and establishes the organization” (Article 60). It is possible for an individual to look to the future with confidence in sickness and in health only if he has the right to social security.
Our “Social Security Program” graduate students may have job opportunities in the human resources or accounting departments of public, semi-public or private sectors, which will ensure the provision and follow-up of the above-mentioned and vital rights for people, as well as the general rights of students who graduated from other vocational school programs. they may also have. |

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading |
Our associate degree program teaches four semesters. A midterm and a final exam are held each semester. If necessary, a make-up exam is given. Students who are successful as a result of the said evaluation are entitled to graduate from the program. |
Graduation Requirements |
In order to graduate from the program, our students must successfully complete the courses envisaged in the two-year associate degree program with a score of 2.00 out of 4.00 and 60 out of 100. The total course credit required by the student is 73 credits on the basis of national credits and 120 credits on the basis of ECTS. |

Facilities |
There are four permanent lecturers within the Social Security Program, thirteen lecturers and a doctor lecturer in the Vocational School of Justice to which it is affiliated. All theoretical and applied courses are carried out by doctoral lecturers and lecturers who are specialized in their fields within the Vocational School of Justice. Education is provided in the conference hall, computer laboratory with internet connection and classrooms equipped with technological equipment (projection, internet connection) in the college building. Our education building is located in the Baberti Complex and is on the public transport route and within walking distance to locations such as the Credit and Dormitories Institution and the Cultural Center. Apart from the workplace trainings carried out within the scope of professional practice in accordance with the protocols; Various technical-cultural trips and activities are also organized. |
