It was opened within the scope of the Vocational School of Justice of Bayburt University in accordance with the decision of the Higher Education General Assembly meeting dated 15/01/2016 and the 7/d article of the Law No. 2547 with the Law No. 2880 and started to provide education in the 2017-2018 academic year.

Specific Admission Requirements |
In order to be a student of the Vocational School of Justice, it is necessary to graduate from the Vocational School of Justice or any type of high school and to get enough points from the YGS-3 exam given by ÖSYM.

Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) |
Recognition of prior learning in Higher Education Institutions is carried out within the scope of the Regulation on the Principles of Vertical, Horizontal and University Transfers, Transfer between Associate Degree and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer in Higher Education Institutions. The student may be exempted by the decision of the Higher School Administrative Board for the courses that he has taken before and whose equivalence is accepted and counted towards the minimum course load. An exemption exam is held at the beginning of the academic term for the foreign language courses included in the curriculum of our school. Successful students are exempt from the relevant course.

In order to graduate from the program, our students must complete the courses prescribed in the four-semester associate degree program with an average of 2.00 out of 4.00. The student must pass a midterm and a final exam for all compulsory and elective courses each semester and be successful.

Profile of The Programme |
Having basic knowledge and notion on legal issues; in charge of the functioning of the court system; respecting the law, caring about professional ethics; To train administrative staff in institutions operating in the legal system such as courthouse, law firm, notary public. Keyboard lessons are given in a detached laboratory in the program. There are no courses taught in a foreign language.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples |
Provided that our graduates pass the relevant exams opened by the Ministry of Justice, they can be employed in many positions (registrar of offices, director of enforcement offices, clerk of record, director of penitentiary institution). In addition, they can find the opportunity to work in many fields such as banks, notary and law offices and private companies.

Graduates can apply to the fields (undergraduate programs) announced by OSYM with the Vertical Transfer Exam.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading |
Our associate degree program teaches four semesters. A midterm and a final exam are held each semester. If necessary, a make-up exam is given. Students who are successful as a result of the said evaluation are entitled to graduate from the program.

Graduation Requirements |
In order to graduate from the program, our students must successfully complete the courses prescribed in the two-year associate degree program with a score of 2.00 out of 4.00 and 60 out of 100. The total course credit required by the student is 73 credits on the basis of national credits and 120 credits on the basis of ECTS.
