Specific Admission Requirements |
Students who want to enroll in the Child Protection and Care Services Program must have a high school or equivalent school diploma and also must receive sufficient scores from the Higher Education Transition Examination type TYT. Students who have the right to enroll at Bayburt University can register by bringing all the documents requested by Bayburt University within the registration period, either personally or by the holder of the power of attorney given in the presence of a notary, after it is announced by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). In case of missing documents, the registration of the candidates is not accepted and the candidate who does not register within the registration period loses his right. |
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) |
Before the associate degree education, it is necessary to complete the high school education. A high school diploma is required for this. Candidates who have previously studied at another higher education institution can be exempt from the relevant courses if they meet the course exemption conditions determined within the framework of Bayburt University Associate Degree, Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulation. |

Students who take at least 120 ECTS credits in the Associate Degree Program, successfully complete all courses, do not have an FF grade, have a CGPA of at least 2.00 and fulfill other obligations are considered graduates. |
Profile of The Programme |
Our program consists of compulsory, elective, vocational and common courses. Students who receive a 2-year education in the Child Protection and Care Services Program take theoretical courses, mainly social work profession courses, as well as Practice I-II courses in social work institutions to prepare for the field of practice. In addition, they must complete a summer internship covering 30 working days to strengthen their experience in the field of practice. During this education and training process, it is aimed for all students to increase their theoretical knowledge and experience to higher levels and to be more useful to the individuals who will receive service at their places of duty.

Students who graduate from the program can find employement in all institutions and organizations that serve children in need of protection under the Ministry of Family and Social Services, as well as in Non Governmental Organizations, projects or organizations that serve disadvantaged groups. |
Access to Further Studies |
Students who want to continue their education can gain the right to continue their 4-year (Undergraduate) education by making vertical transfer to the relevant undergraduate programs within the quota, if they are successful in the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS). Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading |
A midterm and a final exam is given for each course carried out in the programs. The effect of Midterm exam (?) to success grade is 40 % and the effect exam of final exam is 60 % . Students must attend courses and fulfill attending requirements of the regulations in order to have final exams. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. Relative evaluation system is applied for evaluating students success grade . In this evaluation, the course instructor takes in to consideration the statistical result of grades that students attending courses take from midterm, year in and year end exams and these results are converted to letter as system with four under the terms defined in the instruction. . If students WGPA consisting of grades which students take is under 2 in successive two terms, they can’t take any courses in the next term. If a student takes AA, BA, BB, CB and CC from a course, he/she can be accepted as successful. DC and DD grades taken from a course are evaluated in terms of depending on students granduation of WGPA. If a student’s WGPA is over success grade , these courses are defined as successful, but in midterm and year in or enr, this letter grades are evaluated with their coefficients in the calculation of WGPA. FF grade is given to students whofail the course in question. Student who takes FF grade must meet conditions dealing with attending and exam by taking this course in the first semester or year. Success grade of courses, referred to as M and G isn’t included in the calculation of WGPA. |

In order to graduate, students must successfully complete all courses and credit hours specified in the curriculum, raise their weighted GPA to at least 2.00 and successfully complete their internship studies. |
