General Description
History
It started its educational activities for the first time in the 2019-2020 academic year under the name of HEALTH INSTITUTIONS MANAGEMENT.
Qualification Awarded
Graduates who successfully complete the program are awarded an associate degree in HEALTH INSTITUTIONS MANAGEMENT.

Specific Admission Requirements
Students who are citizens of the Republic of Turkey are accepted to our department within the framework of the criteria determined by YÖK and according to the results of the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) organized by ÖSYM every year. Horizontal and vertical transfer applications are evaluated within the framework of the principles determined by YÖK and student admissions are made.
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)
Students studying at BAYBURT UNIVERSITY may be exempt from certain courses within the framework of certain regulations. If the content of the course taken at another institution is in accordance with the content of the course given at BAYBURT UNIVERSITY and it is approved by the relevant Faculty/Institute/School, the student may be exempted from this course.
Qualification Requirements and Regulations
To achieve a weighted grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 in order to successfully complete all of the courses available in the program (for a total of 120 ECTS).
Profile of The Programme
Graduates of the Health Institutions Management program; 1.Has the knowledge of reaching, evaluating and applying basic scientific knowledge in the field of health institutions and business administration. 2.Defines the importance of management principles and effective management methods for the individual and society. 3. Evaluates the basic level of knowledge and skills acquired in the field with a critical approach. 4. Has experience of working with other health disciplines. 5. Develops solution proposals by considering professional and ethical values.

Working places: 1. Central and provincial organizations management units of the Ministry of Health and other institutions 2. Voluntary organizations working on health problems in our country 3. Public and private sector health insurance organizations 4. Public and private sector hospitals 5. Pharmaceutical, medical device manufacturing industry organizations 6. Relevant faculties and colleges of universities The demand of the market for these graduates: 1. Demands arising from the need for personnel to follow the administrative and financial affairs of health institutions together with health personnel 2. Demands arising from the need for administrative staff who can understand the concepts of health and meet the needs of health personnel 3. Demands arising from the need for qualified human resources at the upper and intermediate levels to carry out managerial and administrative activities 4. Demands arising from the need for intermediate staff who have business knowledge, ethical values ​​and know the health sector

Students who graduate from this program can access detailed information from the 2022 Vocational Schools and Open Education Associate Program Graduates Vertical Transfer to Undergraduate Education Exam (DGS) Guide, which shows the undergraduate programs they can apply for within the scope of vertical transfer, the conditions of these programs and the number of students to be admitted to these programs. In this guide, there are principles and rules about how candidates can apply, how to make their undergraduate program preferences, examination, evaluation and placement procedures, the procedures to be carried out by the vocational school directorates and the units to which the open education associate degree programs are affiliated.
