Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is; It is to introduce students to what letter mail shipments consist of, which will form the basis of many field courses they will take in the postal services department.

Course Contents
This course covers postal services department terminology, general provisions, letter mail shipments, special services in letter mail, fee payment methods in letter mail, fee control and taxation transactions, advertisement (requesting news).

1Introduction of the course, learning the basic concepts, the concept of posts in terms of various aspects, classification of posts from different perspectives.
2An introduction to letter mail shipments and letter as the first type of shipment. Description of the letter, format requirements, weight and size limits.
3An introduction to letter postal mailings and postcards as a second type of mailing. Definition of postcard, shape requirements, weight and size limits.
4Introducing the third of the letter-mail shipments, printed papers. Shape conditions, size and weight limits of printed papers.
5Items that are not counted as printed paper, notes and attachments that can be written on printed paper, legislation on printed papers during election and referendum periods, library service.
6Greeting cards and invitations, printed papers to be distributed according to their lists, unaddressed printed papers, m bag.
7The fourth of the letter mail posts: Articles specific to the visually impaired. A general review to prepare for the midterm exam.

9Small packages from letter mail items, weight and size limits of small packages, writings and notes that can be placed inside small packages, bundled items or shipments, survey letters and cards.
10Classification of letter mail shipments according to their qualities, distinction between lettre carte postal and autres objets. General rules for postal services. Legal bases for letter mail shipments.
11Introduction of universal postal service, main principles of universal postal service, postage-free shipments, postal monopoly.
12Confidentiality and security of postal services, persons responsible for postal confidentiality, right of application and statute of limitations, fee payment methods for letter mail shipments.
13Fee application and taxe transactions, special service mail shipments for which the fee has never been paid or has been paid incompletely, the process of having the fee completed, taxe transactions and shipments with taxe.
14Procedures to be applied in various places for incomplete paid shipments, advertising procedures, requests for news and investigation of the fate, place and method of application.
15A general review to prepare for the final exam.
